God knows the path He has for us, throughout every aspect of our lives. The plan we have for ourselves can always be altered, even if all things are going ‘well’ for us. You are not the orchestrator of your life, BUT God is: “ I know the thoughts I think towards you, saith the Lord, thoughts of peace, and not of evil, to give you an expected end” Jeremiah 29:11.
There is no other way, BUT GOD. He is the creator of all things, and has known of you, even before your mother did:” Before I formed thee in the belly I knew thee, and before thou camest forth out of the womb I sanctified thee, and I ordained thee a prophet unto the nations.” Jeremiah 1:5
He took into account everything you need and knew how great you would become. God can make the crooked road straight again, fall back into Him: “Thou shalt guide me with thy counsel, and afterward receive me to glory.” Psalm 73:24. Give up the wheel so that He can lead you back onto the paths of righteousness.
Give up your ways, so that you may experience the goodness of the Lord, and all He has for you. What may be a ‘good’ plan for you may not be a ‘God’ plan: “For my thoughts are not your thoughts, neither are your ways my ways, saith the Lord. For as the heavens are higher than the earth, so are my ways higher than your ways, and my thoughts than your thoughts.” -Isaiah 55:8-9
You are a creation made and fashioned by The Creator, all things that pertain to you, go onto Him. If you go to a shoe store, and buy shoes from that original store, why would you expect to return it anywhere else? You have to go back to where you began: “And the vessel that he made of clay was marred in the hand of the potter: so he made it again another vessel, as seemed good to the potter to make it.” Jeremiah 18:4. Come back to God He will make you new as well as your ways.
God has already written our story, even before we even knew what we wanted for our lives. Give Him His complete space to work.
