I know you may have a billion and one things on your mind. But, take a moment to pause all of the thoughts, and speak with God. I will tell you it is true, getting into God’s presence releases His peace and wraps you into a blanket of comfort. It is unmatchable. Find your prayer closet, whether it be your actual closet, under your bed, in your car, walking around the neighborhood. or in a secluded place, GET ALONE WITH GOD: “He that dwelleth in the secret place of the most High shall abide under the shadow of the Almighty.” Psalm 91:1 When I get off work, sometimes I just need to release, and let go of all that I took in throughout the day. I talk with the Lord on my car rides, or I get down on my knees and pray to Him with what I can give at the moment. Our quick impulses tell us to run onto our friends and tell them all that is going on. But, we have to learn to give everything to God first, because He is the solution and answers for all of our needs, problems, and prayers. If God is our creator, the one who has created us from the top of our heads to the bottoms of the soles of our feet, why do we feel the need to run to others with our mess?
