“20 Verily, verily, I say unto you, That ye shall weep and lament, but the world shall rejoice: and ye shall be sorrowful, but your asorrow shall be turned into bjoy.

21 A awoman when she is in travail hath sorrow, because her hour is come: but as soon as she is delivered of the child, she remembereth no more the anguish, for joy that a man is born into the world.

22 And ye now therefore have asorrow: but I will see you again, and your heart shall rejoice, and your bjoy no man taketh from you.”

JOHN 16:20-22

sometimes this thing is not a walk in the park. you know there’s a promise and a gift inside of you, but it’s like you’ve been through months of pains and aches and trials and testing and you can’t bear it. You have something to be birthed out inside of you, but it takes development before its time to come forth. The development can consist of pains, transformation, changes, and whatever God needs to be done so that it can be exactly to His image. It would be easy if a woman did not have to go through months of carrying a baby with a heavy stomach, and the pains associated with carrying, but it is not so. God gave us pain so we can see there is beauty in it, regardless of what it seems or feels liek it. So like a woman pregnant with a child, she has to go through the constant changes to her body and mind at the same time. Ofcourse, the mother wants it to be over, but she realizes that there is a blessing wrapped underneath the pain. Find something to give God praise for, underneath all the pain. There is so much to give Him praise for, and the sad part is sometimes don’t have it in us to. But God is merciful to help us see the light in the wilderness. His presence follows you everywhere, and the enemy tries to diminish it from you. Don’t let the enemy use your pain to stop. You cannot stop at a full term pregnancy and say I don’t want to push this baby forth anymore. Imagine that, a big belly with a baby inside, and you give up there.. For this promise to come forward, pain is required, don’t give up there, God is still in control!
